San Francisco New Years Eve Fireworks Display
Despite the fact that this years New Years Eve celebration lands on a Monday, there is no shortage of entertainment here in San Francisco. One of the biggest events for all ages includes the fireworks displays from the Bay Bridge and the Ferry Building. Every year, thousands migrate to the see the spectacular lights show on The Bay to kick off the new year!
The fireworks display begins on New Years Eve at 11:59pm and continues for approximately 15-20 minutes. Even though it begins very late, to secure seats you should arrive early around 7:00pm. If you arrive too late for seating, there are other options to see the fireworks. There are plenty of restaurants that will be open with seating that is optimal for viewing the display! Here is a list below:
- Sens: This restaurant is located north of the Ferry Building with a perfect view of the show on the top floor, coupled with great Mediterranean food, its a tasty way to move into the new year.
- Epic Steak: On the waterfront of the fireworks display, this restaurant is offering waterfront seating and juicy steaks to end the year right.
- Waterbar: Right next door to the Epic Steak, the Waterbar is offering delicious seafood and coupled with delicious wine options and front row seats to the fireworks.
- Americano: If you’re looking for the works (Hotel, Party, and Food) this restaurant, located inside of the Hotel Vitale, is offering just that. The entire east side walls of the restaurant is all windows with perfect views for fireworks at midnight.
