Judith Berndsen Is a rock-climber, botanist, photographer, filmmaker, artist and obsessed with road trips and adventures! In her early 20’s, she left her hometown in Germany to find new adventures in America. San Francisco was her gateway drug to rock-climbing while on her way to Yosemite. She immediately connect with San Francisco; a city build on hundreds abandoned ships, it’s fog and the stories of the new Barbary Cost to be magical and alluring.
As a photographer and filmmaker, the city is always providing spectacular sceneary, backdrops and content. Some or her favorite places to visit include the Haight-Ashbury and the hippie vibes from the summer of love, Lands End with dreamy west-coast sunsets and the buffalos in the Golden Gate Park.
So many places to eat, drink and enjoy the most random conversations, but some of her favorites places are Café Greco or Café Triste for a good cup of coffee. For evenings drinks you may find Judith, at one of her favorites drinking holes, Church Key or Spec’s Twelve Adler Museum Café. For dinner choices, so many, but some of her favorite include Outerlands and The Monk’s Kettle.
